1916
Palbit begins operations to grant the exploitation of the Mines of lead sulfide of Palhal (Branca, Portugal) and for the production and trade of hard metal tools.
1941
Acquired by SAPEC Group, expands mining operations to other mines of the group, increasing the Rock Tools business area for the production of mining drilling equipment and also the Cutting Tools.
1952
The expertise allows us to increase other activities and the production of Wear Parts (Industrial Tools).
2003
We supply several industries such as Automotive Industries, Mould & Die, Aerospace and General Metallurgy. We aim for the excellence on our product.
2005
We are presently selling worldwide through a network of distributors, agents and several representation offices, with a team of qualified technicians.
2010
High investments in technology are made in the productive areas to increase their response in the production of high precision hard metal tools and responde to global challenges.
